Hi have you looked at OZTION instead of ebay?? it's very similar, though its an Australian site and the listings are FREE! To open a shop its only $5 a month. www.oztion.com.au
Mandy replied:
Thanks for suggesting oztion. I have ben a member there or a while now. I buy stuff from there mainly. Never had to much luck selling. Only the occasional item.
mj replied:
I know it can at times be a bit slow to sell, hopefully spreading the word will help as a lot of people haven't heard of Oztion yet.
Mandy replied:
I agree with you.

Doesnt it kinda deteat the purpose of "party plan"? I know myself my company wont allow it, and I really like the personal touch and relationships you build with customers. If people can buy your product there, why would they have a party?
Mandy replied:
scrappy - i was refering to ebaying in general not necessarily selling our pp products on there. I am not allowed to sell our products online as the company has a policy not to :)

Hi Mandy,
I like to buy and sell on eBay. I don't sell anything from my pp just second hand clothes and other bits and pieces. I do buy quite a bit on there too. Especially bulk lots of kids clothes for my 4yo daughter. I haven't had many problems. I do find it quite time consuming selling though as you have to take the pics and write up the listing etc etc. I recently had piles of clothes that I was going to sell but ended up taking them to the local op shop as I couldn't find the time to get it organised. I have a listing at the moment but no bids yet.

Me too I love eBay. I was addicted big time. It’s surprising what you can find to buy. I sold off some second hand stuff that we were given when we moved into our home. You know all the half sets of plates, cups, glasses and so on that we got off our grandparents. I had 1 tiny plate from Royal Dolton and had no idea what it may be worth so I listed it at 99c and the bidding went over the $100 mark which was really exciting to watch.
I look daily but hardly ever bid anymore.

I have not stepped outside my front door for Christmas and most - not all was done of Ebay or Amazon - no they don't just sell books.
I am addicted but I really hate shopping and especially at Christmas so it is so nice just to hit enter and wait for the courier. Have brought a couple of things through party plan too. Same concept - noooooooo shopping or shopping centers.
I am a shoe-a-holic so shopping for shoes on Amazon is heaven and I never see the same types of shoes in the shops here.

What a hoot!
I haven't heard that song before, but so much of it is true for an ex-ebay powerseller... aaahh, the memories...
I stopped bothering with eBay when they increased the store fee structure and reduced exposure for store listings.
