If you have read my post in General you will know what I mean. I hadnt spoken to this friend in over 10 years!! But I thought of her often over the years. So why did I not pick up the phone and call?? It was after all just a phone call?? I am now mourning the loss of the 10 years we could have had sharing our lives and dreams.
Now, we may have no chance to make up for lost time!!
I cant believe I let this happen. I am now making a big point of calling all those who mean the world to me no matter how long or far apart we are I am taking that time to talk to them all. Its Never Too Late!!!

Life just gets busy for all of us. It is always better now rather than never. Don't think of the time lost as that cant be replaced, enjoy the time you have now to spend with your friend. I understand how you are feeling. I too have a friend who may not be here for much longer but knowing that means that I really enjoy the times we are together. Don't grieve for the loss of your friend yet as she is still here with you so enjoy her company and be there for her if she needs you.

I know exactly what you are talking about but try (as hard as it is) not to mourn over lost time but rather look to the happy times you have ahead.
I had a friend that i always thought of but never called and she passed away August of last year and i feel terrible as we dont have a chance to communicate anymore.

Thanks just needed to vent my frustration at letting this slip by me! I am not mourning a friend anymore, I am enjoying the expirience of getting to know and old one again!
