She is someone who is very dear to me as we shared so much together through our teens.She found out 6 months ago that she has a one in a million disease that she has carried from birth. She was also told to go home and make the most of the time she has left, but they couldnt say how long that would be. she has since found a surgeon who  operates here and in the US who will give her the possible life saving surgery!!
But none of this is covered by health insurance, so the cost is a staggering $300,000.00!!! The local community of Ocean Grove Victoria have already raised over $48,000.00!! But it is still a long way off covering costs. If you have any ideas for fundraising that can help, or would be interested in helping by hosting a fundraiser, please share your thoughts, Thanks.
