Kathy, that doesn't sound conceited! Good on ya!
My mum (I think that is a pretty common one), she went from a mother, to a worker, to having a gambling addiction, to overcome it and now working in a top department store.
Other than that, pretty much everyone on this site! To see how well you all do, to read everyones ideas (as different as they are), to know that you and I, can suceed in such a transient industry.

The person who truly inspires me is my eldest daughter Maddison. Many of you may know she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis despite being only tens years old. She's taken some serious medication because of it that has has some pretty dramatice effects on her. I'm sure many women would agree that to lose all your hair would be a nightmare. Yet she just got on with it - wore head scarves and ignored the bullying. She hasnt been able to do a lot of things she loves - sports etc but instead of letting it get her down she has taken up a new hobby. She sings and recently got into the Australian Youth Choir!
She has shown me (and Im sure she'd show many of you) that no matter what life throws you its possible to deal with it. She doesnt blame anyone for what is happening to her - she just lives life to the full as much as she can.
To be honest - she's my hero

Kathy,
My mother inspires me. She has overcome a difficult childhood and she also has a disability, yet I never ever hear her complain. She is always there to lend a hand, offer advice or just be there. She is amazing and I probably don't thank her enough. Also my husband and children, just because I love them and they give me a reason to live. Umm, can't think of anybody else right now, but will let you know.

My dad inspires me...15 nearly 16 years ago he had a kidney transplant! He also went through cancer in his ear to facial paralysis after the hospital staff made several mistakes from the radiation and he's continued to work hard as a farmer all his life..he inspires me constantly with his hard work and determination to get through everything he has and without him and his love of animals I wouldn't be who I am today...so I have alot to thank him for.

Without blowing my own trumpet - I inspire me.
Yep! If I want anything done I need to do it myself for myself. My family are my reasons for doing what I do but as for inspiration that is from within.
