I've been told to put it in the freezer, but I've also been told never to put it in the freezer.

I've been told my a person at a coffee place that it doesn't need to be stored in the freezer, just in the cupboard in a airtight container, so since I'm a Tupper girl, I would say yes just use some of your Tupperware to store it in your pantry.

DEFINETLY TUPPERWARE!!!!!!!!!! Tried almost everything else, and the oldest is still the best!
