I'm not sure if this is supposed to be here, or in general, so forgive me if I have it wrong.
I know that the trick to getting parties is asking each and every guest if they want a party, but last night it acually paid off for me!
There was a group of 7 girls and I knew a few of the girls from different social gatherings around town. One of them in particular is quite a strange girl (to say the least). She had a good look at the range then went and sat down again. After everyone else had ordered she was still sitting there, looking at the jewellery again, so I asked if she wanted an order form. I left her until last because I wanted to give her 'time to think' (I am sure you have all come across a few of these girls in your time! ). She said no but she was interested in a certain piece. So I piped up with well how about having your own party and you might be able to get it for free. She said yes on the spot! (she even gave me a date and time too).
Asking is definately worth it. Just had to share my little bit of luck.

Fantastic!
I am finding it a little difficult to ask though. I feel like I am pressuring people, athough I know I am not. I think I am still a bit nervous. Hopefully I will get over it soon!

just think that you are at a party and the consultant asks everyone but you - you would be thinking "whats wrong with me" aren't i good enough to have a ******* party. It has happened to me and i get offended that someone has prejudged me. they don't know me.
When you are asking for a party - i do it for the host - not for me, she will get the benefits for having bookings, the lady i asked will benefit and when it is about them - you are not pressuring them you are offering them an opportunity to get host benefits. if they say yes or no then thats their choice!
ok hope that helps
when someone says no then you just move on to the next person.

I always ask if they would like to join my team first and then if they say no, then I ask if they would like a party. That way you are coming down instead of going up (if you know what I mean). Always, always take a sponsor over a sale. I did a party once, where I only sold $60 worth of product, but I got 4 bookings.
