OK - So I can't keep my mouth shut!! I have to say something here - for several reasons.  And to those who think I am being a b***h now, too bad, there are just as many others out there that think as I do, and are just not as mouthy to say it..... I love party plan and really get sick of the ones who abuse it in many ways.  So therefore as much as you all want sugar coated answers, its not always going to be that way.  There are always 2 sides to everything. 

Now my answer to your question is, and this is MY answer only.  If you are truly interested in joining a PARTICULAR party plan (insert any here)........then why not contact the company directly?  Have a search, have a read  - find something that interests you, there is no use sending out something from my company if you would be offended by the content alone (which could be the case) or sending out information from a makeup company  when you may be allergic to certain things.  By asking ALL party plan companies to send you a consultant pack makes me think either -

a :  well what sort of party planner will this person make if they can't approach someone, and they have to sit back and wait for the information to be handed to them.  (also just by reading your post alone, makes me think you are somewhat more knowledgeable about party plan than that!! - sponsoring, overrides, compensations - you certainly know what you WANT and are looking for -why not take that extra step and approach the company that interests you!)

and

b : the wording on this makes it sound like you are wanting to start your OWN party plan (which in fact there is nothing wrong with at all) - but makes many think - hold on, this person only wants the consultant packs to base her own on.  And if it is the B option, there is actually another forum area where you can post for help about starting your own pp company.    

ps : Also, why not do an introductory first, say you are looking to join a pp in that.  Why make your first post a WANTED ad?

I agree with [ExMember148]. I, along with quite a few others have replied to a post like this one, sent out all the info and waited to hear back. Turned out the person who asked for the information was starting her own party plan business! If anyone is interested in Saucy Fish there is heaps of consultants on this site why not pm one of them and ask for more info. I will send out stuff to people who are seriously looking and contact me by pm. Once bitten twice shy!

After reading the posts on this particular topic, this is the exact reason I do not post on here, and a lot of other people obviously feel the same way.  If I posted and a reply was sent like one on here, I certainly would not post and would be turned away from the website and joining party plan.

First of all I would like to say a MASSIVE "Thank You" to all of you who have PM'd me & given me all the information I have needed to research the 'right' company & upline that I would like to do business with.

Amazingly enough, I am SO glad that I have done my research this way by sending the original message.
Funnily enough I have found who & which companies I definately want to stay away from!

Party plan is all about networking together...building your business.  Thats the whole concept.
But I guess some people just don't understand that.  Thats ok because it will be me building my business, & thank heavens I have a choice with who I start building it with!

Not that I have to explain myself to anyone, but just letting you know that I totally 'fell' onto this site by chance & due to being at work...full time...I didn't have the time to go searching.  I get up at 4.30am every morning & don't get home till 7.30 every evening.  So as you can imagine, I am extremely tired by the time I get home.  Needless to say, I don't have personal time to get on the net & go searching for information...especially when I want to leave my current job.... yesterday!!

Those of you who have kindly emailed me with information...I thank you.
I am an genuine person who is looking at leaving the corporate world and creating a business for myself.

I am now a Fifth Avenue Consultant! :)

After a while of thoroughly going through & scrutinizing what the Company offers in regards to product, hostess benefit, discounts, sponsor benefits & the compensation plan...I would have to say that this one was the most impressive to me.  Fifth Avenue Collections offer everything that I was looking for in a new business.  I have to admit that I am extremely excited about my new business venture :) 

Thank you Kathy for answering my million questions & for helping me to get established as quickly as possible :)  You have been wonderful & I can't wait to meet you on the 7th December :)
