I cross paths with people every day that for some reason or another say.."if that person did me wrong l would never forgive they..they would be wiped"..and l always think wow..."what makes you so perfect that you judge others so harshly"...
I want to see forgiveness as a gift each and every one of us gives to ourselves. It is very difficult and I can understand why most people struggle with it - learning to forgive oneself especially is one of the most intelligent, important thing -we can do to ourselves.
It helps in every way imaginable unclutter our minds, it frees our mental, emotional and physical energies. It makes us live a more happier, peaceful and productive life.
Scientific research has also been able to prove that forgiveness has a positive effect on the well-being of individuals who genuinely practice it.
I end with a wise comment made by Mother Theresa '.. if we really want to love we must learn to forgive' Forgiveness and love must then be different parts of the same coin, we cannot have one without the other. The more we forgive, the more we love and vice-versa.

Beautiful and very true, I always say that I dont have time to hold a grudge as it takes too much energy! I much prefer to forgive and move on. You summed it up perfectly! Thank you, its nice to know there are others who feel the same!!!!
