Mean Fiddler sounds good......I have heard fri and sat nights are rough......I dont go in to the city much anymore (I lived at Coogee for over 30 yrs) so close to home would be good for me.....

like the idea of local! if it means I can catch a cab!! never get the chance to have a drink as I am always the driver!!! Asked around about the Fidler, It is quite far, but its a good night to be had!
If there is anything similar closer to home, that would be great. Will check out any ideas that you all may have, and the menus!!

I have been told about this place, and it comes highly recommended!! please follow the link and let me know!! All main meals look yummy and are between $15 and $25 so there cheap!! (more to spend on more important things like drinks...) Cheers!!

Something much closer to home for Kirsty & Sharon, is the new tavern at Rooty Hill. The Alroy. It's on Rooty Hill Rd North - great good, not too busy, relaxed atmosphere but a really nice outdoor area to eat. I would recommend it.

What a GREAT idea!!! I have been there and it is lovely!! Cant believe I didnt think of it earlier!!! WoooHooo............ if its agreeable with everyone else, It gets my vote!!!
I dont even have to worry about driving, it is walking distance!!!!!!!!!

Hi girls friday nights are out for me as we have Little athletics...at this stage I only have 1st and the 8th dec open for a sat nightand 11th nov and 25th nov for a sun night (thats if sun is in the running)

i've been to christmas parties before where there has been a secret santa and what has happened is if you bring a SS present you can take part if you don't bring a pressie you don't - hope that make sense -

what I had in mind was to each buy and wrap a gift to the value of $15-$25 and bring it on the night, and those with gifts put their name in and as each name is called, choose a gift!!
