Discussions : General discussion : Who do you support???

Many PP companies support a charity in one way or another. I thought it would be interesting to find out which charities are supported by the different PP companies.

Partylite supports the Royal Childrens Hospital Foundation of Australia. For every Garden Whimsy Tealight Trio with 12 tealights sold, Partylite donates $2.50 to the RCHFA. Guests can also make a tax deductable personal donation when ordering as well.

Does your PP company support a charity?

Zammy replied:

UnderCover Wear supports 2 charities. With our childrens clothing range, we donate a percentage to the Make a Wish foundation, and with our Support the Cause t-shirt we donate $10 from every one sold to the Cancer Councils of Australia and New Zealand. We were also a primary sponsor of the Girls Night In promotion for the Cancer Council in October :)

Something Naughty Parties is supporting the Girls Night in (Cancer Foundation) by donating $1 from every product sold to the cancer foundation. Fantastic cause especially when my family has been touched so closely by it, so I'm very proud to support it!

Bali Dreaming support 40 Balinese children by paying for their school fees and our goal is to support 100.  These children's family live on or below the poverty which means they earn less than $13.00 a month.  One of the main roots of poverty is a lack of basic education and when you have no money it is difficult to send your children to school if you cannot afford the fees.  At Bali Dreaming we believe we can help to break the poverty cycle and give these children the opportunity of a brighter future.  The foundation we work with is YKIP and the project we support is the Kembali project.  Kembali means return in Indonesian and in this case it is a return to school for these children.  If you are interested in finding out more you can visit the website www.balidreaming.com.au

I love the cause behind my party plan business it is the reason I do what I do.  I look forward to going to Bali to visit the children in the near future.
