I just wanted to mention about the pink ribbon fundraiser held at Jacks Café in Strathalbyn SA my friend Brenda is the owner.  I asked her if we could use her Café as a venue to host a breakfast / morning tea  which was held last Thursday.  It went very well and was a busy morning with many of the local ladies coming in dressed in Pink.  We had pink scones and pink cream, pink jelly cakes and pink cupcakes even pink kitchener buns. 

There were many people who have or had breast cancer or family members of people who have been affected in attendance.  We had a nice bright photo in the local rag which the boys from my work place have hung on the pin up board in the lunchroom at the winery were I work.  I did say that there was no need for them to pin it up as we were page 2 girls not page 3. 

We didn't raise a fortune the tally is close to $400.00 we still have a donation tin on the counter and hope to get a little bit more before the end of November.  It was good fun and we will do it all again next year.
