People that don't follow thru. We all get busy etc, but when you say 'Yes I would love to help I will post you some vouchers/samples etc' and they don't makes me cranky. Especially when you are holding out on doing something waiting for these to arrive.
ps to those who do what they say and send in time!!

Ooooohhhh I sooooo agree with you.
People say oh yeah I will make it........... You e-mail, PM etc and they don't reply. In the meantime you are knocking back others in the same business. When they do finally tell you they can't make it, it's too late to organize someone else....... Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I know what you mean, as I am peeved, the same sort of thing that happened to you has happened to me.
.
The Trade Show/Expo that I was organising for November, has now had to be cancelled. Due to the lack of contact from interested parties as well as not receiving deposits and not seeing Public Liability certificates. I am so peeved, less than two weeks to go (had to change date due to venue change) and people are so rude that they cant give a phone call. I couldnt call them back to find out what was going on, as their number wasnt displayed on my phone, and they said they would call me back as soon as *they find a babysitter, *talk to a friend to help out *find their PL certificate and other excuses. AAARRRGGGHH!!!
.
Anyway, hoping to postpone it to February or March, and everyone who has supplied me with business cards, leaflets and or brochures (Thanks Julie), if you dont mind me hanging on to them, I will still hand them out when I have the Show at the beginning of next year.

I was really disappointed also with the E-Party I held last week. I had a great time with the people who did turn up. None of them had PM'd me for a catalogue. The people who had PM'd for a catalogue did not show up and have not placed an order. Why ask for a catalogue in the first place? I know we all like to drool over the things that we would love to buy but as we all know, we have to pay for our catalogues.
There were 2 people who did PM me later with their orders and apologise for not joining in. Another also popped in but had a family emergency and couldn't hang around. They and the people that showed up know who they are and I thank you for supporting my E-Party.
It's just a shame that people who said they would be there weren't.
I have supported E-Parties in the past and will do so in the future if they are of interest to me and if I can't be there I will PM the hostess beforehand and tell her I can't attend and place my order then. It would be nice if others could do the same instead of saying they'll be there are not showing........
I'm so glad I got that "Off my Chest".
