Discussions : Off your chest... : Shameless ..............

I know you won't all agree, but this is my off your chest - sometimes the number of recruiting 'ads' in shameless does start to get a bit off putting!! We all NEED 2 more consultants, we all TURN AWAY parties, we all WANT to move to the next level.
My idea of Shameless is advertising more about your product, your special, your new lines etc. I didn't think it was really designed for an employment section. Fair enough when its a recruit special, ie:join for the month of get xyz, or similar. However, more and more every day, members are posting for new recruits, please realise that the majority of members on this site, already are with a company they are more than happy with.

Ditto..............
Yes we all want more parties, more recruits, more business (who doesnt)............lets get back to chatting more about topics of interest, life, fresh ideas, helpful hints, achievements, ambitions, goals, fun, etc.....
Lately ...there seems to be a awful lot of advertising from newbies in all sections..it does get a bit off putting to read the same again and again....
Lets keep it to a minimum in shameless....and not everywhere else....
Cheers..............

Agree with you both whole heartedly!!

Maybe we need a forum for those who are seeking to expand into a new company. So more like a wanted section for people to advertise what they are looking for rather than the companies hounding for new people?
Just an idea!!!!
I agree though with what has been said here. I too also thought that shameless was for people who had some great products they wanted to share with everyone. JMO

I would just like to add. That I myself have post a message seeking recruits in Shameless. Although I realise that most people that use this site are already with a PP they love - we do get new people here all the time and some that actively request information on joining a PP company. In my own case as most of you know I am behind getting Dilara up and running here in Australia which is why i just threw out the word that if anyone was interested to join etc etc.
However from past PP experience - it is true we all do need just 2 more recruits etc. But bombarding with these kinds of posts can be a little off putting.
I think a wanted section would be a great idea jackie as it would seperate the recruitment side from promote your products section. JMO

I agree, it is only a few Snazza that are ruining it for everyone else... Lately I have just been avoiding that section all together because it is flooded with the same thing in several posts. Mr PP -- can we get a "wanted" section made up please.

I must say that I searched around to find somewhere to post my "recruiting" ad! And figured that was also what the "shameless" was about! Yes it would be nice to have somewhere for people to post this stuff specificly, so that it is not a bother. I have since removed my posts in relation to recruiting. I wasnt posting to get higher, or better recruiting figures, I have a great team of girls, in melbourne! I am however seeking anyone to join here as I have never had a problem such as the one I am facing now! I have NEVER turned down a party and really have had to! This is soo disappointing to me as there is a need for more consultants here, and I would love to give this opportunity to someone who really wants to have a succsessful business. I am sorry to you all that my post may have turned you off, that was not my intention.
sparklingvoodoo replied:
Scrappy.....I don't think this post is aimed directly at you (JMO) but at all posters in general. It is a case of needing an extra section where it won't put people off as then they won't HAVE to go there.
jenlerose replied:
I totally agree with all said , however, if we have another section just for recruiting - sure their will be plenty of posts but no one will go in there to look anyway, so whats the point? A few of you have already said you avoid going into shameless because of this reason.
Basically I feel this site isn't set up for the purpose of recruiting at all, jmo. And that shameless is a bit of shamelss fun to show your product off , again jmo. Lets just have fun on this site. It really is a break away here fromall that hard work to mingle and get to know other PPer's.
Enjoy!

I agree with most comments.... Just throwing another option into the ring as I'm not sure what the best thing to do is...
We have a consultant directory, so what about having a sticky at the top of the intro page called "who we are" or something and a list of the companies represented on the site, with a link to the consultant directory. Then people who are interested in joining a new pp can browse through ones they are interested in and contact a consultant in their area... This will also be useful for companies such as Stampin Up!, Dilara or Flaschengeist etc who may not be as well known as say Tupperware, UCW or Le Reve and encourage people to look into the smaller companies as well as the larger ones and weigh their options.
Of course we could still do recruit drives in shameless or a wanted section when there is a specific special (eg 1/2 price kits for the month of December, or Join now to receive a free gift) but leave general recruitment info to private enquiries.
It is just a thought, as everyone has made valid points in this thread.

True Jen, never thought of it that way!!! Who would go looking in there?? Oh well, at least it would leave shameless open for what it is suppposed to be for : a bit of shamelss fun to show your product off now which product should i show off today???
