Hi everyone,

I have not been around that much lately due to work and running around with my 13 year old son Dylan.  He broke his knee playing basketball 8 weeks ago so I have been running around with him to doctors and x rays etc.  We had his first physcio session today and it went really well.

As some of you know I posted a  little while ago about Dylan trying out for a new Basketball Academy School.  The try outs were last Tuesday, and as I said above Dylan has a broken knee and was still in plaster at the time of the try outs.  We still attended them and spoke to coaches and the principle as well.

Well Dylan and I are extremely excited.  They have offered him a place in the Academy based on his academic and sports references.

I am so proud of him for achieving this without actually doing the tryouts.

So now it is time for me to start working on my husband as he is worried about the travel to and from the new school and how I am going to cope with it.  He doesn't really want Dylan to go because there is a good school within walking distance.

Anyway I think that I am slowly getting him to come around and we are going to the school on Saturday for a tour and speak to the coaches and principle again.

So yeah for Dylan.  His dream of playing in a big leauge basketball team is that little bit closer.

Sharon.
