Hi,

I only give them my business card and have a quick chat when they FIRST comment on my jewellery l am wearing...it has caught their eye and they love it....which is great as it gives me an opening to mention my business...go into my hand bag ,reach for a card and point out my website...don't give to many catalogues out (as the cost always adds up..), if the person in the shop isnt too busy...always ask if you can take their name and ph number...that way you can follow up later with a phone call...

I don't go from shop to shop asking for business as this can get you in trouble with business owners, security etc....you do need to be a little careful when you are out and about..

Of course it depends what you sell...I am very lucky as l wear my product everyday..which always draws comments...and potential bookings...they are drawn to my "bling"
