Hello, my name is Laurie Fitzgerald and I am the president of one of the first Success Circle/Chapter meetings to be held in Brisbane/Gold Coast area. I would like to formerly invite you and any of your co-workers to attend our meetings. The format of the meetings are listed below. Our first meeting will be held at the: Springwood Community Centre Cnr Cinderella Drive & Vanessa Boulevard Springwood Date: 25th October Time: 6.30pm Registration for a 7pm Start - 9pm Finish Cost: Between $7 - $10 For DSWA and Hall Hire only. (Will have final cost when final numbers are complete) Meeting Format: We are taking the basics of Network marketing, direct marketing and starting there. Each month we will break down the basics such as our 30 second commercial, the basics of the presentation, sponsoring, interviewing, and sharing ideas that will help you and your business move towards even greater success. Description: The Direct Selling Women's Alliance (DSWA) is the first professional organization dedicated solely to supporting, educating, and uplifting individuals like ourselves that are achieving our dreams through a home-based business.

The DSWA is a fun, safe, positive networking environment for Party Plan consultants, Multi-Level Marketing Executives and Direct Sellers. In order to keep the DSWA meetings a safe place for direct sellers there is a DSWA Code of Honour which states that there is NO cross recruiting/sponsoring.

The focus of Success Circle/Chapter events is on idea sharing, training and support for all home-based business women in our area. Our topics for discussion are based off information from The Build It Big Books.

If you are involved in Direct Sales/ In-Home Party Plan or know of someone that is, please pass this information to them and invite them to join us. I highly recommend everyone that can, attend this event! The DSWA is a primarily USA based company, but they're making a huge movement over here and I believe we can all benefit from their knowledge!

This event was held last night! What an inspiring and uplifting night I had! It was great to catch up with scentedcandlelady aka Julie from Partylite. A shame not to see more PartyPlans members though.
The next meeting is being held on the 29th of November in Sunnybank Hills ladies, will post more details in a new thread closer to the date, would love to see some of you there, especially if you enjoy the warmth, caring, supportive, sharing environment here in the forum, you'd love the DSWA philosophy and meeting atmosphere.

I'm disappointed I wasn't able to attend (does anyone know a great babysitter my way?) - hoping the next will be a day time meeting, because I sure don't want to miss out on one of the guest speakers next time!

Julie, you'd have to put that question to Laurie, I think she's organised the venue.
Kath: I believe as of next year the events will be alternating between night and day meetings :)

Contact Person Liane Jacobs Chapter Email lac106@mydswa.org Chapter Officers: Meeting Format I'll be sending out and personally calling to invite direct sellers to join our breakfast or lunch meetings I will also be inviting 5 personally to make up the initial officers and begin the growth process. The meeting format when officers are organized will be initial meet & greet and asking what they need at the time. We may take 30 minutes on that and then 30 minutes on education (15-20 with presenter/ workshop situation and then 10-15 on interaction) I plan to study and use the meeting format put forth by the DSWA Meeting Frequency Monthly
Not sure whether this is what you're after... being Sunshine Coast as well, it might be the better chapter for the Northside?? (hope it helps)...
