I have been very unwell for several years and am still not doing so great, and working my own hours suit me well. However due to my illness i am unable to drive so was thinking of setting up in my own home to do party plan and have people come to me instead of me go to them.
What are your thoughts on this?
Any other ideas to get me started on party plan would be great, i am a newbie to the site and to party plan :)

I sincerely hope that your health improves soon.
Your idea is possible but will still take a fair bit of work on your part. It sounds similar to something that I do once every 3 or 4 months. I hold a workshop at home in one our 3 ranges and invite past hosts, customers and new people along. The main one i do is at christmas. It will also depend on how comfortable you are with having strangers in your home on a regular basis.
If this is the path you choose may i suggest having set hours and days plus somewhere specific you are going to do it so that you dont have people wandering through your home - unless invited to do so.
You would also need to work out how you will do deliveries etc.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I am at an advantage as we have a "shop front" at the front of our home that once used to be a deli, so i am able to set up in there without any disturbance to the rest of my home.
I already have a customer base and am in the process of asking them all if they would like to host a party.

Wow that sounds like a fantastic idea, especially with your own shop front! Some people like the idea of hosting parties away from their own home so you could suggest that they can host at your premises (if you want to go down that track).
