Hi everyone,
Most of the time during the week I live in tracksuits and do not bother to play the part of jewellery lady when I go shopping, but when I do I try and get a booking..
Today I had a booking with napolean makeup for a makeover.. So after that went to get a bite to eat with the kids ( school holidays i forgot when I was booking)
I said to my kids just let me try and get one booking as I am all made up today with my jewellery.
So I saw a lady selling cushions in the shopping centre.
These are the ones that are in the centre of the shops.. You get different ones every week selling something.
So I am admiring the cushions and she said " I love your jewellery".. . I said thanks..
I did not go straight into what I do, instead I made a bit of conversation about what I was doing at the shopping centre and blabbed about nothing.. ( you do not want to come across as desperate or pushy).
Then I slowly mentioned what I do.etc etc....
She said " I would not mind bookings a party" . So I booked her in on Friday night ,2 weeks from today.. will let you know how I go..
So for those that are struggling with bookings this is all you have to do.. Make converstation and let people know what you do. go out and do PEOPLE SHOPPING.
If you did this 5 hours a day you would get booked out pretty quickly. So there is no reason why anyone should be short of bookings.

Well I had 2 shows this week. One on Thursday which was small - about $270 in sales., but I got 1 booking and a the hostess used to do party plan before.. I was there an extra hour talking about the business so I think she will join.
Then last night I had the shopping lady booking.. That was $580 and 1 booking and she asked me at the end she wants to talk to me about the business. I could not talk as she has a lot of kids and all the partners were their too...
I still have 2 shows this weekend, so it has been another great and productive week in party plan.
( the show i am doing today-the hostess is a horse lover so I have designed the jewellery table with a lot of HORSE jewellery.)

you are very motivating with your posts marina, i just need to build the confidence to be more straight forward when looking for bookings, but with time it will come im sure.
