Brought my 8 yo a lovely new bike for her birthday.. she's had a few learning and behavioural problems and we're slowly dealing with them.. The bike was a reward for her as well as a present, as she'd been trying really hard, and looked at her birthday, saying she'd grown up now. She left the bike outside in our front yard.. with almost 6 ft high fence.. and someone stole it from the yard :( She's hadn't even had it for a month.
As she has had problems learning to ride, we had it specially fitted with training wheels etc. I'm so not impressed, but it really makes me wonder, what is wrong with some of the people in this world, that they would steal something from a child?
Argh I'm so mad!

Sadly, this type of thing happens all too often.
I have bicycle hire business that I run from home too and I've seen it all. Most people are fabulous, but it only takes one to ruin your day.

I feel so sorry for you and your daughter but I know what you mean when my house got broken into over 12 months ago now They stole $5 out of my sons wallet and they had to have know they were stealing from a kid cause his wallet was in his room in his bedside table. Makes you wonder what is in these type of peoples heads .
