Just wanted to introduce myself here. I moved here from NSW to Ballarat 9 months ago ..well to a small farm outside of town. I have just moved into town now and know absolutely no one. So.. In true Starsie fashion, I have decided to take the bull by the horns and join a party plan.

I have a very good idea as to WHICH 2 I am interested in.. But It is going to be hard for me to get the parties required to join up in the first place. I am NOT joking when I say I dont know one single person. Not even one of the Mums at my sons's school.

So if youhave ANY ideas on how I could possibly get bookings, I would appreciate al the help.

Hugz till I hear from you ...Starsie

Hi and welcome!!!

I too had trouble getting my starter parties, so have a look under "Boost your Bookings" (very helpful!) and ask, ask, ask!  I'm very shy (stop laughing everyone!!) with strangers and dont' like approaching them but I'm getting better... When you decide on your pp company you will find lots of support and ideas from your team and this site.  Another factor for getting bookings is the kind of products you sell; talk about them constantly, if they are wearable (eg jewellery or clothing) wear them!

It will be a great ice-breaker for your new neighbours!

Good luck!

Welcome Starsie!!!

Great to have you join us here.  I'm fairly new to this myself, but I hope I can be of help.  I'm actually going to start doing some door knocking around my area to try and get some sales and parties, I find that really daunting as I'm not a person who can speak to strangers very easily, but I'm willing to give it a go to see if it can help me in my business.

I live in Werribee, so only about an hour from you, I sell Tupperware.

Have fun in deciding which PP to go with and make sure you let us all know when you decide.

Yvonne
