Story Felt is a new, growing educational products party plan business. We are looking for experienced party plan or direct sales consultants, or new to the scene party planners to sell our gorgeous range of felt story products - we already have consultants on this website who love it and are doing well, but there are areas of Australia that we do not cover, and we are really keen to see our worthwhile product in homes and schools all over the country!
How much? $150 for your start-up kit. The brochures you can purchase from Story Felt or print yourselves at home as we provide them on disk, along with other documentation such as letters to schools, invitations etc. We keep the overheads as low as possible, so that the profits go into consultant's pockets, not business running costs.
What do I need? An ABN (can apply for one after joining up, is free from the government!), a sharp pair of scissors, and an interest in expanding the minds of children.
What if my neighbour wants to join? They can't - we have a NIMBY policy - we will not launch a new consultant in your area once you join up. You are not restricted to a selling area, we are restricted in who we sign up. Some of these areas are quite large. Commonly, no-one else in your shire. The NIMBY area is determined together with us when you join.
Do you have managers? No - this party plan business will not suit anyone looking to make money from recruiting, as we are not a MLM business. Consultants buy at wholesale rate and sell at retail, keeping all of the change for themselves, and the margins are well worth the time you spend on your business.
How do consultants make money? Three ways - sales, cutting fees and mounting fees. If you are crafty, you will enjoy the creating side of our product, and much of the work can be done while watching your favourite TV show (House, CSI and others I am informed by our consultants)! We sell to people running demonstrations in their homes, markets and fetes, static displays in schools and kindy/child care centres, catalogue parties etc. How and who to is up to you.
What about flexibility? No minimum orders, just a requirement that you place orders at regular intervals to maintain your NIMBY exclusion zone.

For anyone thinking about a new party plan company with a difference then this could be the company for you! For any wanting a change consider Story Felt too. We even have a few consultants who run Story Felt along side of their exsisting party plan business.
Story Felt products sell themselves and the fact we can sell through many different avenues is fantastic!!
To show what potential our wonderful range has I have sold over $1700 RRP(this includes cutting and mounting fees) for August. This has been sales through 1 static display, 1 catalogue party and independant sales!! I am attending fetes, fairs, trade nights, fundraisers plus visiting schools all over Brisbane while having fun meeting new people and getting crafty!!

Just MY opinion, NO OFFENCE MADE TO ANYONE. just sounds like a silly rule.
It is in our agreement that we each get to chose an area to service, and Brisbane is well covered with more than 2 consultants in the area. Please dont bad mouth a company just because we have rules to protect our consultants... If you were the first consultant im sure you wouldnt want a new consultant to sign up just down the road from you. It'd increase competition, decrease indiviudal sales etc and this is why the rule is in place.... If the girls in brisbane find the workload too much they may open up new positions for new consultants in the area but unfortunately you may have just shot yourself in the foot with that comment!!!

I have only been with Story Felt a few weeks and havent really got started with promoting it due to my illness as well as my kids amongst other things but I already have a large amount of people interested and keen to see the range once I am up running. The product certainly sells itself and the other girls in the team are such an inspiration and huge support.

I am afraid TJ&PJbabygifts that you have 'hijacked' this post for what it was originally intended. Please take your own advise when you say, "ONCE AGAIN JUST MY OPINION.... NO ATTACKING NEEDED".
