I was "let go" from my job last Thursday.  Totally caught me by surprise and off guard.  I was 2 weeks over my probation period and had a review which I was told that I was doing a good job and they would start teaching me more of the other Admin and Accounts stuff.  2 weeks later, I've been given the sack and told that they are "restructuring" and they don't have a position where I fit in.  What about reception???  The job that I was hired to do in the first place!  I was also told that they were getting in a new receptionist.

Not exactly sure of the real reason why I was sacked.  Personally, I think it was a personality clash with this chick as she didn't even like me from the start.  She's not even the Boss!  My immediate supervisors didn't even know this was happening until I told them I wouldn't be returning and they were just as stunned as I was. 

Ahh well, what can you do?  It wasn't my dream job, I was only there to pay the bills.  Maybe it's a blessing in disguise.
