I am new to this site and look forward to learning lots and hopefully helping other.
We started life as a Laser engraving business engraving photos onto timber and aluminium and personalising loads of things. We added see through coloured crystals to our range. Next we added the silver and gold pendants with photos and just recently we have added a whole new range of items which have coloured photos on them and include mugs, mouse mats, ties and heaps of other things. This line is so new I have not had a chance to get it on our website.
Because our items are so visual we started taking them to our local shopping center (who allows us to display for free definately worth asking you local one) and to the markets. We had such a great responce and people kept asking if we did party plan. I have done party plan before and done very well I though I would give it a go. I then asked 7 people, that I did not know, what they thought and 3 would like to look at becoming consuiltants and 2 would like a demo. I thought that I had better do my research and plan for this before I actually started sos not to get swamped or in fall down in some legal way. This is the point I am at.
I have found it difficult to find help to get started in the right way. Starting in small business even a home based business, there was heaps of litrature around and lots of help from BEC and the business advisory Centre, I am not finding this with party plan though. Is there a site (or have I missed it on this one) that has at least a few points to check off before you get started. Has anyone on here got a few pointers or even there own check list that they may have used to get the process started and added to. I have not had time to read all the posts but have read lots so please point me in the right direction.

You have what sounds to be a fantastic range of products - something a bit different for a chance is great!
If you read the posts in "Starting Your Own PP" you may find so info to help you out otherwise pm Mr PartyPlans for access to the "Owners Private Forum" which you will find a few fantastic ladies there to ask for help and info.
