Hi And just have to say no its not a private one!!!
Yesterday I got my lip peirced on the side again(i took the last one out, actually I lost the stud and didnt have a spare so i left it out.) looks a bit funny at the moment cause it has swelled up bit it will go down after 3-5 days. ( i now cant drink alcohol swim, or smoke (its too cold to swim and i dont smoke so that doesnt worry me) I just thought afterwards though, I hope that people wont judge me by it, and not book. I hope it doesnt affect my bussiness
There is a fairly big (not huge though) silver stud in it at the moment the normal peircing size, but after it fully heals 6 long weeks i will change it. I havent had problem with my tounge one but people cant see that one.
Just wondering if any one has any visibal peircings >> other than ears and if you think it affects your bussiness..
I normally dont care if people judge me because i have a peircing but since i am still trying to build my business, i think i worry bout stupid things

I think it depends on what you are selling and to whom ?? People can be very funny still. It doesn't bother me, but I have also seen some company proformas stating no facial piercing for consultants. Each to his own.

Hi Ivy
Just to let you know that my personal opinion is that I don't really care. You will probably find that there aren't to may people out there now that will actually be offended by it. If they are, then maybe they should get with the year that it is.
My 7 yo son asked me the other day if he could a tongue peircing because the singers on TV had one. Well you could imagine my reaction to that. But when he is old enough to know what he really wants, if he still wants one he can get it.
Good luck & I hope the swelling goes down.

Personally i think it depends on the person. Some people I am afraid may be put off by it as they may associate it with a toughness or something that they just dont understand. Personally in todays day and age anything goes and the person should be judged by how they treat you and not how they look, all be it cosmetic or otherwise.
I guess you will need to wait and see how you go. People should be dealing with you for you!!
Good luck with it and hope the swelling goes down quickly for you.

I have a young lady in my team, who does very well in her business. she has a couple of peircings on her face, but she chooses now to remove the lip one as she found the guests were more distracted to what was on her face instead of what she was presenting. This is her personal choice though. when it comes to business meetings and parties she simply removes all but one. ( she has 3)
To her this looks less offensive, yet I don't notice it that much as it is a little diamond studd and looks very pretty.
It all comes down to personal choice, and you must be prepared for some people who may be put off by peircings. I guess its up to you whether you wear them when working or just take them out while doing your party.
good luck with it
