Description: Market stall holders and bargain hunters are gearing up for the second annual Beenleigh Historical Village Fair.

A wide range of arts, crafts, and community groups will be represented at the event. Some of these attractions include a miniature wedding expo, medieval jewelry, miniature jeep-rides, face painting, live blacksmith, sawing wood, live brass band music, family history, Aussie BBQ, and the old style spinning & weaving.

'You can expect a wide range of interesting market stalls at this event' says Historical Village manager Greg Aitken. 'The Beenleigh Historical Village Fair aims to create the atmosphere of the old-style village'.

Another Beenleigh favourite the Saga Vikings will be re-enacting an authentic Viking trading village with displays of sleeping, playing, cooking, eating and sword-fighting in their medieval encampment.

“The Village Fair will be celebrating markets with all kinds of stalls from the Dark Ages through to the modern day. There will be community organisations with stalls as well at the event”, says Mr. Aitken.
