An e-party is run in an online chat room that you allocate.  Select a suitable time/date, and plan ahead.  You need to work out all the normal procedures that you would do for an in home party -   payments accepted, how orders will be delivered, host benefits, catalogues, postage etc.  Send out e-invitations!!

CATALOGUES - it is important to ensure each of your guests will have access to a catalogue.  You want them to be able to see what you are selling and what they are buying.  Decide if you are going to send out hard copy catalagues, use online catalogues or email catalogues to interested guests to be.

HOST BENEFITS - probably the most popular way to award these is by a random draw.  You can allocate points for games/orders etc.  Always post the results as well, so everyone knows!!

GAMES - are as equally important in an e-party as they are in real life.  Award points or prizes for your games.  Send prizes with guests orders or keep a running tally of points and either give a prize to the highet tally or each point awards guests an entry into the host benefits.  You decide.

There are lots of games you can play at an e-party (I think I will go into this in the games section).

Ok, I hope this helped some.  Any more questions ?  Just ask, someone around here will surely be able to answer for you.

THANKYOU! i have been after a bit of an explanation for so long - and you did a great job at doing just that. Pity the 07 calendar is all booked up - i would have loved to give it a shot.

Hi Jae

To have one on this site you will probably have to wait until 2008, but if you want you can hold it on MSN and just advertise your party here on party plans. Just let people know what time and give them your msn id and away you go from there!!

Hope this helps
