Hi Fellow Party Planners,

I hope that I have put this into the right section.  I am wondering how long any of you were in Party Plan before you started sponsoring, if your business grew quickly or not and whether or not you do the training or your company does the training.  Also does anyone have any handy hints for me.  I have been in PP since Oct 06.  I have no probs with bookings or sales, but sponsors seem to just slip through my fingers!  Hope someone can help.

I believe sponsoring depends on a number of factors.

One factor is the company, some just seem to people to be too "hard" to do.
Another is your enthusiasm - you need this almost as number one, regardless of the other factors, as if you are enthusiastic this can be VERY contagious.
Is what you do at parties, able to be perceived as EASY.
The product has to be something of interest to the people you sponsor, if it isn't they will start and not be round that long possibly anyway...

We have sponsored an average of 4 people per month in our business over the last twelve months, with some months of 8.  We have had to build all the documentation, and process for our Party Plan, as our supply company still does not have any of this.  We are in the process of sharing some of this with our sponsored people, so they can be setup to win.

Cheers,

Vaughnn

Hey Aussie Mum of 3,

My fav subject.

A lot of you do not know but I started this in January 06 as Just a hobby, I truly did not know how big it was going to get and so quickly,

My 3rd party i had signed up a husband and wife team. I did not even have an application form. In my 2nd month I became a sales leader which means 5 people  joined me  to earn the full bonus cheque. It has been a ride all the way up with a team of 80 now which includes 1st line, 2nd line and 3rd lines.

The recruiting just happened and is still happening constantly. Last month recruited 4, this month 2 and more 2nd liners and 3 liners. It is a constant every month.

Bonus cheques keep getting bigger and I still cannot believe it at times.  All I do is talk about the business once and I do not know it just happens. There is no magic formula.

I never advertise in the paper. 98% of recruits come from my parties which is the best part for me.

Words of advice, be in love with your business, offer every person you meet the opportunity of a dream. Why keep your fantastic business a secret.

Party plan is the best !

good luck.

Thankyou Vaughnn and Marina for your replies.  I do love what I do, but perhaps you are right and I might 'overcomplicate' things for people at my parties.  Perhaps I talk too much LOL.  I am sure it will happen one day, I just hope soon.  I do offer it to all my hostesses, as they are the ones initially interested in the product.  Any tips?
