I have just discovered this wonderful website today. My husband says I spend too much time on the computer now. I can see that it's only going to get worse now I have discovered partyplans.com.au.
I am not a party planner at the moment but I recognise a name or two as I am researching a few companies, trying to decide which one is for me.
I'll let you know when I decide which way to go. There are so many great PP's these days. It's hard to decide but I am pretty close to making a desicion.
I am in Country Victoria, so a resource like this website will be invaluable.  Great work everyone!!

Lancer replied:

Thanks for the welcome Tracy.
I see that I am a 'newbie'. What comes after 'newbie' and how do I move on from 'newbie?

Snazza replied:

Hi pardon me for butting in but the more posts you do the quicker you move on to copper then bronze then silver and then gold :) hope that helps

Snazza

Lancer replied:

Thanks for your Welcome too Snazza and thanks for the info re Bronze, Silver etc. I love a challenge and getting to the next level - that sounds like a PP thing to say. Maybe i will do better at PP than I expect

downunder replied:

Welcome to the forum.

There is so much helpful information here and you are right. So many party plans to choose from. I've seen a few on here that I had never heard of.

I'm from country too, WA, and that  does have its challenges.

Julie

Lancer replied:

Hi Julie.  I'm sure country WA would have a lot of different challenges to country Vic. At least in country Vic you can drive an hour or so and go through 3 or 4 different towns. Do you travel a lot for parties? How do you get parties in other areas?

Melinda replied:

Hi there Lancer

Welcome to the forum.I live in Country Vic too, Are you close to Ballarat?

Melinda

Janine replied:

Welcome to the forum Lancer,

I have no doubt you will find lots of help info, ideas and members here at PartyPlans.

Happy posting!

Cheers

Janine

Lancer replied:

Hi Melinda and Janine. Thanks for the welcome.
I am close to Bendigo...

Melinda replied:

Ohhh only a bit over an hour from Ballarat, next time I go to Bendigo for a party we could meet for a coffee maybe.

Melinda

Lancer replied:

How did you know I'm a coffee addict!!
What company are you with?

Melinda replied:

Ohh good another coffee addict, I love it!

I'm a unit manager with Saucy Fish Jewellery. There's a few of us girls on the forum, hope to 'chat' to you soon in the chatroom. And you never know, we could get that coffee one day.

Melinda

Snazza replied:

ya gotta watch these saucy fish Lancer - they're everywhere......(insert jaws music here)

Well hey maybe when i am up in Bendigo dropping my daughter off at her best friends place we could all get together for a devo tea LOL oh sorry i kill me! Or maybe a latte or two or a flat white or a cappacino or a defcaf haf capped cap or ok i will shut up now :)

Warped sense of humour please excuse moi!

Lancer replied:

now don't go fighting over little ol' me girls!! We can all be friends
I love your sense of humor Snazza! If anyone is in Bendigo let me know. I'm not fussy about who buys me coffee.

Snazza replied:

Lil ol me fight? Never! Well maybe but only occasionally and sometimes on a monday a tuesday a thursday a friday a saturday a sunday...so not too bad really hmmmm i know i am missing something there....it just didnt feel right.....ahhhhhhh yes it was wednesday i missed how could i forget wednesday cos thats today!!! Ok i am warped glad you like my humour Lancer - i am a little left of field so not everyone gets it - they see it as a form of nuttiness....imagine me nutty? or should that be  gawd i love these emoticons.....ok well i will definately shout you a latte when i pass through next....which might be sooner than you think - partner insisting on going to Inglewood to see his sis....how sweet :)

WorkingMum replied:

Hmmm sounds to me like someone's already had a bit too much coffee!

Lancer replied:

I believe .......................You can never have too much coffee or Green tea (Pretend you are watching that Channel 10 ad).
If only there was a PP that sold coffee and green tea. There isn't is there???
Is there anything close? Mmmmmm that's got me thinking

Snazza replied:

Thanks Workingmum.....gee is it that obvious that i have perhaps had a tincey wincey bit too much caffiene today woooooooooooooooo caffiene why did i have to mention it again oh my....think i had better bung the kettle on hmmm Green Tea ya know something Lancer i havent ever tried that.....i use to do the old peppermint tea occasionaly but not GREEN - However i did try pink once - ok ok ok i am going to stop there my jokes are now getting too sick for me to even handle so i am going to do you all a favourand shup!  Whats that i hear some of you think, say or type??? Well to you sir! ok off in search of a plot.......

Lancer replied:

Putting the kettle on is a great idea.................
Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome. I have never done the 'forum' chatting thing before. I am enjoying my debut.

Looking forward to joining one of your companies, so I have some experiences, problems, issues and ideas to chat about.
Talk to you all soon.

Yes, the distance between towns here is a lot greater. I do travel to other towns  to do shows but since we have a large local population it is not necessary. The hardest is the waiting time for delivery. I did fly to head office in Melbourne once to check my company out and attended a Seminar in Perth. In Melbourne, consultants can pick their order up from the company - I always have to wait for the post.

Hi there welcome to the site its not only a great source of inspiration but great fun too so many things to look at!!!

I am hoping to put a few ads in some country Vic Newspapers soon looking for some new reps out there to be Miessence Reps like me, so you never know you may see my name popping up there too.

Have fun making your decision.

It really dose your head in because there are so many good ones out there. Good luck with your decision. Make sure you let us all know how you go. I live in Melb.

Hope to chat soon. And Snazza, BEHAVE! Cut down on your caffine love.lol

Have fun choosing a company... oh and if you like aromatherapy products including 100% pure essential oils, bath and body oils, natural moisturiser bases etc, PM me for more details. Actually, I think we have just put an ad in the Bendigo paper for an info night next Tuesday night... maybe I should find out the details.

Kimbo replied:

Wow, I just found this site today...it's great. I've been involved with party plan a long time back and am now looking for another opportunity.  I too am in Central Vic and have found it a little difficult to get info about companies available in the area.  EXCEPT of course the ones that have a glut of consultants in the district - so I'm looking for something a little different.  I'm sure I'll find it soon. Kimbo

Melinda replied:

Hi Kimbo

I'm a unit manager with Saucy Fish Jewellery, if your looking for a party plan with not many consultants we could just be the one for you. I'll pm you with some info.

Melinda

StampinUpMichelle replied:

Hello Kimbo,

I have PM you with some more information about the company I am with - Good Luck in finding the right PP.

Lancer replied:

Hi Kimbo,
I agree with you about the glut of consultants with some of the party plans in the Central Vic area. Let me know who you decide to go with. We might be able to catch up and help each other out.
