Ok .so i started work at 12 noon and came home 8.30pm just in time for Greys Anatomy.
I did 2 shows back to back and all up sold 950 and 4 new bookings to grow the business.
When I go into a show I never think of sales, like how much I am going to sell, I always go in there to book book book. That is the crust of the business. So mission accomplished. I got 2 from each show. The funny thing is 2 said no no at the start , but they came around......
The last show was from a lady that I called out of the blue because of the booking club and that was a brilliant show. She is an old friend from way back. We all had such a good time.
So $475 for a whole days work is awesome I think. The ladies at both shows were a pleasure and friendly and now I can relax the whole week. Yeah ,. the kids are back at school .........
The saturday show postponed unfortunately and that does happen from time to time

Hi Marina,
Well done... that's great I have to admit I use to be in for the sales and would forget a little about my bookings. Now I am in for bookings, bookings, bookings...
Your right they are what are business is all about if you don't have the bookings you don't get the sales.
You must have been tired.... hope gray's was good.. I was busy making a fascinator for Melbourne Conference and totally forgot.
Have a great relaxing day today...

ive only had 1 party but i was thinking about the bookings more than the sales also. I was a little disappointed b/c of no bookings but i did get $500 and something in sales so I guess I can't complain!!. lol. I'm definitely not complaining actually. I LOVE what I do and it's worth all the time I've put into it now without being paid so I'm willing to do some more without the check. I'll get my money soon enough

HI ANGELA,
I also sell Oasis homewares and on average get 3 bookings at each party. How? I entice my guests by explaining the host incentives and also the fact that we give so much away. for e.g an average party of $800 gives a $20 voucher to start for booking( this actually sounds like more than saying 20% discount even though 20% off say the Lux mirror is $ 40!!) , approx $80 discount plus host gift worth $39.95 a total of $140 for FREE!!! By breaking it down and painting a picture for them this gives them a visual picture of what they can receive. I have never asked for bookings they come up to me and book ...try that and I think you will see a difference. It's all about getting them excited about their party too... coach them and help them along the way.. you will reap the rewards at the end!

Wow Lee,
you get 3 bookings from each show and you never ask... That is awesome.
I wish I could do that. every now and then i will get someone that asks me, but most of the time I have to ask....
Today I had 2 shows again back to back and the first show I got one booking.. the other one said her flat was too small, the other one was way too busy, but said i could phone her in november, the other one already had a party, so only got the one.
the 2nd show I had to rebook the hostess, 2 ladies already had a show, one lady said she had 5 children and too busy, another one was pregnant with a little one, and the rest were young girls..
all in all had a great day with total sales of 1037 so $518 for a days work and 2 bookings, cool..

Don't forget recruiting!!
1. Recruiting
2. Bookings
3. Sales
Recruits are better than bookings. I go straight for that first. If that is a no, then you ask for the booking.
