Firstly, thank you all for all your well wishes.
Maddison is still in PMH in isolation however at this point it is more to protect her from everyone elses germs. Because of her rheumatoid arthritis she is on some very strong medication which have nurmerous side effects. One of which is the supression of her immune system. This means that she becomes very sick very easily. She has what is called vasculitis - which is an inflammation of the tiny blood vessels in her hands and feet and because she doesnt like to do things by halves one of her feet picked up a staf infection caused by a bug we all have naturally occuring on our skin.
I'm very pleased to let you know that she is recovering nicely. And being spoilt rotten by all the staff at the hospital. Its been quite a stressful time for all especially when her right foot turned black - looked disgusting but it seems that she has turned the corner - she's being as cheeky as ever, and I'm glad.

Im so sorry to hear about poor little Maddison...poor little chook!
However it is nice to hear she is getting better and that the staff at the hospital are taking very good care of her!

Very relieved to have Maddison home from hospital at last. Recovering nicely - can tell cause she's getting cheeky again but I'd rather that than sick!
Contact info is now back to normal.
