Hi Michelle,

Just a couple of ideas that might help you out:

1  Have you tried your outback postie?  Perhaps if you offered him an incentive he would be willing to drop some of you catalogues off to those who don't regularly come into town

2 Perhaps you could get the receptionist at the mine to be your hostess for a catalogue party - offer her incentives based on how many orders she gets.  Give her a timeframe say 2 weeks and get her to get as many orders as she can, this could also work for local govt offices (if Newman has any), or the local hairdressers (again if your town has one!)

3 You could approach the local pub about holding an open house there.  I'm sure they'd be more than happy to set aside an area in the bar for you to set up your display - after all people aren't going to leave the pub without buying a beer! If your pub does meat tray raffles and you can justify it you could offer an additional prize from your collection.

Hi Michelle,

You could have a Mystery show at you place.  Invite as many people as you can and have prizes for those people who bring a friend and have door prizes for when they arrive and draw them throughout the afternoon.  Then after you have done the presentation take everyones orders and have another raffle going anddraw that for the mystery hostess who will receive all the hostess incentives. 

Even put an ad in the paper that way you are getting your name around town.  Try to advertise 2 weeks in a row that way people know you are serious about your business.
