Maybe it could be adjusted so that some fields were compulsory to fill out when you Register to become a member.   Obviously, not email addresses etc but something like Location would be ideal.

Just a suggestion - I too think its great to know where everyone is from.    Kath

Hi Everyone,

I am "BUMPING" this post as there is lots of members who have not put in their location. This will help everyone by adding it as guests can find someone close to them to a party, other consultants can find other consultants for expos, shows, swaps etc.. The very least that will happen by adding your location is no one will contact you by you never know you may end up with some unexpected party bookings in time for christmas which means more $$$$ in your pocket.

I am going to "BUMP" again as there are lots of new members and still old members too who have not listed where they can be found on the map. For those who are new just add your location in your profile - just a general location would be great. e.g. Brisbane QLD, Campbelltown Sydney etc.. no need for your actual address. This location will give other members and potential customer/consultants/hostesses on who is their closest consultant easily and quickly.

I am bumping this one as now there are around 145 of us here now and so lets get everyone on the map. As they say location location location. Putting in your location is easy - steps are above in a post from Party Plans. Follow these steps and you may find by just adding your location you can arrange customers, parties and party swaps easier. Or maybe just a get together with like minded party plan consulants for a chat and coffee. So go ahead add your location.

The whole directory system is changing very soon. Implementation of the consultant directory is part of this.

I thought I would bump this one. Could everyone put in their location in their member profiles only 65 (approx) have their location out of 281 members. It is easy to look for people in the memberlist as it clearly states their location. Come on everyone - consider it free advertising and you do not get much free these days.

Soon we will be integrating the party swap / catalogue swap with consultant directory ( and removing that forum category) and the location will be mandatory for participation in that feature.

Basically, if someone is listed in the consultant directory, they can further indicate if they are interested in party catalogue swap.

Not even 100 of us have listed what area of this this great country we live in. You do not need to put your address, you do not even need to put your suburb. What about adding your City/town or even just your state.

You might be loosing customers, hostess or simply just getting together with other party plan consultants!!

This is free advertising for every single member. What do you get these days that is FREE?????????

When you scroll right to the top of this page on the blue banner (sorry not sure what else to call it) you'll see Home, Memberlist, Search etc ... click on Memberlist and it'll bring up a list of all our members and their emails, sites, LOCATIONS, etc.

As you are all probably aware, this is now a core feature of membership (with approximate Map)

Personally, I love it! I have never heard of a lot of your localities... now I can actually see where that region is.

PLEASE NOTE: For privacy, our system randomly moves your location every time your profile is displayed and also restricts the zoom level. Maps are for regional reference only!! Suburb detail at best.

Check your profile, if an rough map is not displayed, you can click here to edit your location.

This is an excellent feature. Helps to find other PP'ers close to you, and could lead to a party booking!

Because yor exact address is not shown, you don't have to worry about protecting your privacy.
