Its hard to pick exactly which part plan will be in demand. What if its a trend?
So, I have another question, lol. Has anyone had much sucess with catalouges? Which PP also offer a catalogue sales option instead?
I know there are a few, which I am seriously considering at the moment. I just think before starting a PP, I would like to try a catalouge first, to see what everyones reaction to it is, and if they like the products.
Anyway, as I have asked, has anyone had much success with them and which companies offer this option?

Hi, the question I asked myself and friends and sister-in-law asked me what products do you like and would feel comfortable and have confidence in selling, even though I liked a lot of pp products which I do buy, I didn't know whether that pp was for me (no offence meant to anyone just my personal experience) . I had been discussing with my sister-in-law about pp and which one to join, she rattled off a few names, it was when I was invited to a shoebag & accessory party, loved the products (even though I do love other pp products) It was that moment that I knew this was the pp for me.
Just a thought, you could have a few different parties (and get the benefits as well by having one) or/and go to some and speak to the consultant, also get information from the all the lovely people here on this site. I'm sure you will receive lots.
When you say you "would like to see what everyones reaction to it is and if they like the products" do you mean family and friends? When I asked family and friends about different pp each of them liked different products however their not the one joining the pp so their opinion will be different to the one your looking for. I think your answer to that question might be a little open ended, as their a so many wonderful products in every different pp.
We do have a catalogue, a little difficult with fitting of shoes, most people want to try on before buying.
Hope this helps. Good luck with your search.

I think with any PP it is much harder to sell from a catalogue than actually being at a party and seeing the products. You are never going to get the same success purely doing catalogue selling. I find I always sell a lot more of the pieces I take along to a show, rather than the ones left behind. One piece in particular I hardly ever sell when I don't have it, but when I do I sell heaps!! My record is seven at one show!! People really need to see the product, no matter what it is, and the whole party experience is what sells it - particularly with me. It's the aromas, the atmosphere of having all the gorgeous pieces lit, and the fun of getting together with friends. Just my opinion anyway.
As for finding out everyone elses opinion, you are never going to find that everyone agrees on the same thing. Most PP companies are well established with proven track records - they are not just passing trends. If you go for a company that has the years and experiance behind it you know you are on to a good thing. I honestly think the most important thing is to find the product YOU love - you need to be your own best customer. It then shows through when you are selling it - your enthusiasm and pride in what you sell. People will see it and want a part of it. Do some investigating ,host or attend a few parties, see whats out there before you commit to anything. You are so lucky to have come across this fantastic resource before you made your decision. There is so much information here and people to help you. And I truly believe most of them have your best interests at heart - they are not just here to try and sign every new person up to their PP. We want you to be a success and help you find the one that's right for you! Isn't that right ladies!!! Woo hoo for Party Plans!

Some fantastic advice there for sure. Catalogue only selling is very hard and eventually consider if that is a product you would like to take to the actual party plan selling level. As a customer I even have trouble buying jsut from catalogues (just ask Zammy and SaucyKath!!! - I am the worst catalogue customer, I want to feel, see, touch it all first)
Ultimately YOU have to be comfortable with the product, you can't always rely on family and friends, believe it or not, they will run out and you need to grow your business. It's a great idea to host a few parties of your own first, this will help you to see if this company fits you!!
Good luck!
