What does it mean when you have red, puffy and tingliness in the hands? My stepdaughter has it and has just gone upto the hospital to get it checked out.

Best advice Jane....is to see what the dr has to say..it could be a number of things but ethically and legally, it would be wrong for any one to come up with a diagnosis without the medical background to back it up..best thing you have done is take her to have it checked out..
l do hope your step daughter is feeling better very soon.
cheers...Kathy

Not sure, but it is a good idea to go to doctor to have it checked out. I hope she is feeling better and it is not too serious.
Wishing you all the best

How did she get on at the doctors? Do you know what the problem was yet?

hi,
My stepdaughter went to the hospital and it was caused by the cold weather we have had here in Toowoomba and since we had the coldest day on wednesday 20th june since 1896 they have had lots of people come to the hospital with similiar cases.
But her hands are alot better now and the tingliness has gone.
thanks again
Jane

Glad to hear everything is okay! It was cold enough here in Brissie - hate to think what it was like in Toowoomba! My son had their athletics carnival that day - they froze their little butts off sitting outside all day!!
