Discussions : Boost your bookings : Rebooking Hostesses

Hi All,

Do you think there is a 'Time Line Etiquette' to follow when rebooking hostesses?

Are there any Do's/Don'ts when it comes to rebooking hostesses?

Rach :)

Thats is a tough one! My first thought was 'it depends on what sort of products you sell'.

For me it vaires due the differences in the 3 ranges - perfume, aromatherapy and skincare. What I like to do is to is to give them and their guests a call after 3 weeks to see if they are satisfied with their purchases, answer any questions they may have etc. After this call I've had what you might call 'skeptical' guests - i love them can i book a party, of course I say!

The next call I make is at 3 months after purchase - make sure they still have plenty of their favourite items etc, let them know about any hostess offers. Some will rebook then others not for another month or so.

Because i have the 3 ranges i am able to book them in sooner - their friends might want to look at one of the other ranges. I've also found that i tend to rebook perfume and skincare sooner than Aromatherapy - because you use so little its lasts ages.

Hope I've answered your question  - mind you in a round about way!Not functioning too well this morning.....

This is an easy one for me!
We generally re-book our hostesses for the next catalogue release (approx 3 months) unless of course it's been a big release and they haven't gotten everything they wanted, generally then they'll know when they want to have another party.

I often rebook hostesses. We have new products released at least three times a year and I always offer a chance to rebook for them. As we also offer so many workshops it is easy to rebook hostesses who are interested in workshops. with the different Make and Take options available now I have one hostess who has booked four demos/workshops in a three month period and we have done something different each time.

It does really depend on what you are selling I guess.

I usually offer my hostesses a special bonus if they rebook on the day of their show, sometime within the next 6 months. I find because our products are consumable, a lot of hosts will rebook so they and their friends can restock their candle supply. Because of course, once they have used our candles, they won't buy them anywhere else!! Hehehehehe!!

I must agree with Karen. Your candles are BEUTIFUL. Im having a Partylight Party in August, just in time for the x-mas stock. And to replenish my own stock as well. LOL
