I got a phonecall friday morning from a lady interested in joining the business.
she works in a jewellery shop, has been for 10 years and is sick of it. she manages 6 people and has sales targets. if they are not reached she gets a call from the big bosses. she is very good at her job, but works so hard for a measly wage. she also works every other weekend, 8 whole hours.
one of my customers was wearing a ring at her shop and she asked where she got it from. the lady said she got it from a jewellery party. ( me)
She has never heard of jewellery parties and automatically wanted my name and number.
So that is when I get the phonecall. I arranged to see her and her hubby friday evening. They slept on it overnight and then they called me saturday evening for another appointment to answer some other questions.
we went sunday morning for coffees. I took my husband as well this time and they signed on the dotted line.
she will be giving up her fulltime job in 5 months. She already has 10 people that will do a party for her
I am so happy for her and also that fact that it was word of mouth recommendation.

What a great morning it has been.
Just got 2 emails in today. One of my girls went to Sydney for 2 weeks to do some shows. they were very well received and she joined up a lady in Sydney. There is so much growth to be had in Sydney and am excited that we have the ball rolling there.
also received an email that an application is going though next friday. ( a husband and wife team) They will do so well..
So more growth in the business.... All is going well......
