I have been talking to a lady I know about holding a party for me,
spoke to her today and she has told me that the place she works at
is happy for me to come there and do a party.
Here is my question-as most of you know I do 2 companies,
my hostess has said that they would like both companies demonstrated,should
I do the jewellery demo as normal, show individual pieces and have
the pure earth products set up in another corner of the room,with testers
so they can try for themselves.
I have also been informed that there is the possibility of 30 ladies being
there.

Why don't you try 15 minutes of demonstrating and talking about both....
leave a 10 minute gap inbetween ... maybe with a game or something in between.. that way people will have afresh mind when they see the next one...

Wow - congrats on getting such a fantastic opportunity!!!
I'm guessing you're going to be limited time wise so if it was me I'd probably do 2 quick presentations focusing on the benefits you have to offer (opportunity/hostess), who the company is, what's special/different about your products ie nickel free/interchangable pendants/benefits going organic , having the game to break up each one and then turning it into a trade show style encouraging the ladies to come forward and try/ask questions, get them excited by offering a prize for a drawing, maybe you could offer an extra incentive for anyone who books and dates with you then and there, what about doing some kind of take home packs for the ladies with flyers, samples, cattys, vouchers, maybe have some recruitment/hostess packs ready to handout.
I'm thinking with 30 ladies all in the same room it's going to be hard to keep them focused and not nattering so by encouraging them to come up and mingle over the products that would give you the opportunity to give individual attention, answer questions (plus as a woman I can tell you once I've tried something - I own it and have to have it, and I hate spending money so I'm going to want to know all about FREE, Half Price etc!)
But I'm not the best person to be answering this as I only represent the one company - maybe someone who represents 2 companies can offer some advice, what works/what doesn't etc

I cannot help you with the above as I only do one party plan, but good luck and have fun...
make sure you get heaps of bookings......
