As everyone would know by now the recall of some of Thomas the Tank trains. Im so disappointed as now i have to break the bad news to my 3 year old son who just adores his trains. He has nearly everyone and can tell you all their names, what they do and where they live. How can i break the bad news to him?

What Thomas trains, I got some not long ago and put them away for my grandson for christmas.

i just went to channel 7 web site and printed off a list.But heres a few -
James and trailer, Skarloey, old slow coach, hook and ladder, water tanker, musical caboose, red line caboose, red coal car, fire trucks, fire station smelting yard.
Hopefully yours arent on the list

OHH NOO. Tell him they need to go to get a train service. This might work. I feel for you. Or try telling him they "The Train Fairy" took them in middle of night.
I am lucky since I have a Thomas so Thomas Tank is not a good choice of toy to give us. LOL

Well, thank God 4 party plans and u renaek. I had no idea about the recall until i read your post, and i had just bought my son some new trains for his birthday last week, including the james engine. after reading your message I went and googled the recall and found out that it is for the wooden vehicles. i still contacted them though to make sure and took james into hiding until that time i hear back from them, thanks for letting us know - mj

My son is a Thomas the Tank fan also. Luckly, he collects the Die-cast set. Its a bugger that you have to take them back. I really dont know how i would break the news to him if i had to take them back. He would be devestated. Good luck.
