I had thought I would share this with you about the books I'm reading at the moment, I hope this information helps someone.

The reason I am reading these books is that I meet this author at a Business Networking Seminar in March, her name is Robyn Henderson, if you get a chance you should hear her speak, inspirational and motivating Robyn is regarded as a Global Networking Specialist, authored  and contributed to 19 books (including 10 on networking & business building and 3 on self esteem and confidence building).

The books are:

networking magic, network or perish & 22 Essentials for Building Your Best Business (thes last 2 have other authors as well)

Any body have any  books they are reading that they would like to share along similar lines?

For those of you just having a look,  please post, networking is  very useful to all pp business as I found out. One lady asked me to call her up at the end of May to book a party.

Went to a networking night several months ago the next one on 12th June, you swap business cards, hear a guest speaker (it was Debra Dejong from changing rooms & renovation rescue) she is a motivational speaker for many womens groups on "Finding and following your dreams" and you get to meet lovely people and also the one I went to cost no money to join and you got a 30 second spot to advertise who and what you do.

You will be surprised at how a network meeting can help your business.

I'm reading "Piano on the Beach" by Jim Doornan - the founder of Network 21.

ingashoebiz replied:

Thanks for that, may I ask what Network 21 is

candlekaren replied:

It's the "business" side of Amway. Very, very clever man - multi millionaire many times over. We get a book and CD's to listen to every month through their education program. I find they are great not only for Amway, but also for my PP business!!

ingashoebiz replied:

Hey Karen, maybe I should have known this, was in Amway many years ago, yes I signed up for their books, they are great, still have them.  There books are inspirational and motivational.

Reading the Networking books teaches you to network and make the most out of meeting people, and by going to network meetings with other business you then can learn first hand how other people network, it is not always about getting business from the other person straight away, they may refer you to another person and so.  I can highly recommend the book by Robyn Henderson, she explains it perfectly.

My upline is big on networking and also talks about Robyn alot. I think it is a very important part of this business, as most of our business is word of mouth. Plus, women are more likely to do business with someone who a friend has recommended to them!! This is a great topic Inga!
