Just starting another topic:

So what does everyone's partyplan company charge for post and handling ?  Is that Per customer  ?

Does the order get delivered to the hostess or back to individual costumers?  Do you, the consultant, have to do the delivery or is it handled by a 3rd party?

SaucyKath replied:

We charge a flat $2 per customer with everything me mailed via Registered Post.

ingashoebiz replied:

We charge $3.50 per order, $8.80 for urgent delivery , all delivered by a courier company

ClaireHogan replied:

We charge $1.80 per order, then all orders get sent to the consultant, who then delivers direct to the Hostess

ingashoebiz replied:

addition to my last post - delivered by courier company to hostess. all products packed seperately with copy invoice, hostess then only needs to contact guest and distribute products

With TAH, it depended on how much was spent.

Under $70                         $3.00/guest

$70.01 - $149.99              $6.00/guest

over $150.00                     $9.00/guest

Host received free freight and handling.

The order was then sent to the host and they ditributed it from there.

with us majority of customers will take their product with them on the day and I get paid straight away. no deliveries for the hostess.

sometimes  i wil get the occassional lady who wants 2 weeks. If  it is close by  I will go direct and deliver myself. This has been of benefit because I have have 4 ladies join me in the business that way. They invite me for a cuppa and we get talking............

if it is too far, jiffy envelope and $3 later is fine by me. This happens rarely so not complaining.

I get customers buying from my website as well and they get free delivery and free packaging and I still make the full 50% commission.

CKCath replied:

CK charge a flat rate $2.00 Handling fee for all customer orders. Product is delivered to me and I get to have loads of fun with my rollagraph decorating the bags to suit the contents and then delivering to my hostess. I love doing the order delivery as it gives me a chance to catch up with my hostess and find out how they and their guests enjoyed the Demo. I have had many hostesses decide to rebook on delivery day as well.

scentedcandlelady replied:

Hi partylite doesn't charge anything for delivery unless the party is under $150.00

We pay for our consultant orders of 9.00 plus our exclusive hostess booking rewards but otherwise nothing..

i know so many customers who love this..

There is a home wares company up here which charges 8 .00 per order we learnt very quickly that only one person was to order... huge order but hey 8.00 is a bit rich per customer.

Undercover wear has a flat $3 postage fee. But if a guest wants their garments asap, it is an additional $16.50 and garments are received within 1 - 3 working days.

Wikidz is $3 postage fee when minimum of three people order something, otherwise its $6.50 for outside order delivery and guests that want their order direct to their own home instead of the hostesses. However, it is different in each state, of course being in perth and me being in brisbane is the dearer postage cost.
