Yep, all you got to do is ring/go see them, if they have a play room, ask them can we book it for a business meeting with mums and bubs.  If they don't have a party they won't mind.  Tell them to make sure they have lots of YUMMY cakes that day!!

Just wondering what time suits for next Wednesday the 13th for our Brisbane coffee morning, Maca's Springwood. I was hoping to book us in tomorrow so how does 10am sound?? (It would give the Northside girls a chance to get down to Springwood)

I went to Macca's at Springwood this morning and they do not have a party room. But.. they do have a room that we can use which has a door into the play area. They do not take bookings for this room but the guy I spoke said it does not get used much and we have them lock the door so it is not accessable.
All I need to do next Wednesday is show up a bit earlier and inform them that we would like private use of the room from 10am.

How does this sound?? Otherwise the other Macca's like Mt Gravatt ( it does have a playroom for sure) or next in this area would be Woodridge (it too has a playroom but is off the motorway)

Can you see the playground from the room, Janine?  Just for those bringing littlies?  I can't remember there being a room there near the playground at Springwood. I do know Mt Gravatt has a lovely room and playground there.  I'd be happy to go to either, although, Mt Gravatt would be better for the kids.  How many of us will have children with us?  What do you guys think? postamble();

From what I can gather it has access to the play area but I will call into the Mt Gravatt Macca's tomorrow as I am going to Carindale  and see what the go is with their party room. Mt Gravatt is more accessible than Woodridge or even Loganholm. In my last post I had put playroom but meant party room (blame all of this fantastic rain for a foggy head)

I will only have my 3rd old with me on the day.

I would love to come tomorrow.  The only thing is my little ones are both sick at the moment and I would hate to pass on anything to other little ones that might be there tomorrow.  I will see how the boys are in the morning.

I have been out of town for a week and a half, but home now. I am planning on attending tomorrow with my two boys. They do both have the sniffles at the moment, but nothing serious, they both  seem well in themselves and it hasn't slowed them down at all. So long as they don't wake up "sick" I think we should be ok to come along.

Thanks so much ladies who came along yesterday for morning tea (then lunch - ha ha ha) Only a few came along but we had nearly 3hrs chatting, eating and drinking.

Candlekaren is fully of knowledge - thanks Karen for sharingwith us how to go about fairs, expos etc... It is great to hear from someone who has some experience up her sleeve.

Thanks to Hennypenny for coming along too!! What a great range of products on offer from Andrea - a must for all expecting mums, mums with bubs and even toddlers (have to order the colour changing potty training stickers!!)

Also Jenny (fellow SFishie) - it is always nice to catch up for a chat.

We chatted alot about anything and everything plus hot chocolate, coffee, caramel slice, cheesecakes and other yummies were enjoyed!!!

I think the Wednesday 11th July was mentioned,  but no set venue.  Carindale was mentioned, although it probably should be on the Northside again.  Any ideas?  Maccas usually works best - and near the Gateway Arterial.

It had been 8 weeks since the last one, so we were thinking of trying to have them closer together.  But thats all I know - not much help is it! lol!
