Do you give in or do you keep going?

Choose to Stop or Choose to go  on???

How do you know the difference between when to keep going and when to stop .

People say  have  patience and persistence . they say that is the difference between those that are successful and those that are not.., but there's no point being patient and persistant going down the wrong track.

Is it likely that your business  may never really be worth the time you've put into it.

It pained me  that I had to give up  4  party plans . It was like i was throwing away my dreams, but I knew they would never reward me. It was admitting defeat.  Sometimes  this has to be done. It is scary, but if you have been doing party plan for years and not getting anywhere what do you do????

I think this is an intersting topic and one that could have a good discussion.

I AM TRYING TO THINK OF GOOD TOPICS

I think the answer to this differs for every person and their situation.

For me personally I don't like to give up anything, I think you get out what you put in (90% of the time), but even with saying this sometimes things fail and there is no amount of hard work that can save you.

This is my first time doing party plan and I have not been doing it long. I think the hardest thing for me is lack of support at home. This would be for me the only reason why my party plan business would fail. Though I have faith that good things come to those who wait.

This site helps inspire me to try my best and be a success!

I'm in the same boat as Jaclyn. I'm getting very little support from my family and friends with my party plan. If it wasn't for my husband, I probably would've given in. He's really inspired me to throw myself back into it 100%, and joining this site has been a godsend as well

I never give in. It is in my nature..

There have been times when I have thought about it but never actually done it. I have thought that it was getting too hard or I am not getting anything out of it - but I pushed through that moment and have been rewarded by getting another recruit or having fantastic workshops again. So, I guess I am in this for the long haul.....

Great topic Marina!

I think for me personally as i have grown as a person i dont like to give in or to admit defeat, especially as i can recall when i have done so in the past and regretted it for different reasons.

For me without going into the nitty grittys i use to be a creative memories consultant and was quite successful running regular workshops and home classes. I was truly loving it and felt i had found my niche....however my personal life was crumbling and it began increasingly hard for me to present my wonderful family photos and pages to use as demonstration as my world had altered so much and what i would have been showing was no longer true. I decided to quit and i still feel that was the right choice for me at the time.

We all grow and learn from everything we encounter. This time round although i dont have a huge amount of support at home for my business - i am doing it for me. I dont need to prove myself to anyone and i feel i am now on the right track with a wonderful company backing me.

I think you need to keep going as long as it is the right choice for you. Although it is hard sometimes i do believe it is worth it in the end.

Gosh i hope this made sense - i have a feeling i am rambling.

onwards and upwards i say :)

"It is impossible to fail, if you never give up" I read somewhere once and I love this quote.
Having said that, sometimes leaving a particular job, or changing a certain situation is important and not necessarily giving up.
Change is important in life and if you have passion for your PP (or whatever it is you may feel like giving up on) then push on, keep trying and you will find a way to make it work.
Just my 2cents.
