last year i did a show with bronwyn. her party was great and I got 2 bookings easily.
but there was this lady called heather that just stood out from the crowd. a computer programmer with a huge interest in gemology. I knew that I had to book her in for a show as I knew somewhere down the track she would be good at my paryt plan.
anyway she bought heaps as she is allergic to fashion jewellery, but not ours as it is nickle free.
she bought all my unususal sets with big stones.
she said no a show. How could i let her get away. I asked her why she is saying no .
she said as everytime she has a party no one ever comes.
i said to her, you know what heather it does not matter. one or 2 girls will be fine. Look i will send you out the invites and we will try.
i booked her in
she called me up a week before the party to postpone as no one was coming and she could not rebook as it was going on to christmas,.
i said o,k, i will call you in the new year.
i did call her in february, again ,excuses, she is moving house. etc.
i said i will call you april.
called her april and booked her in for may.
she called me up on thursday to say she has had enough , no one is coming apart from her sister. she asked me if she can just pay me out to cancel the show. She felt bad as I had given free jewellery based on her booking.
i said to her i am going to come down just for the 2 of you and we will have fun.
the show was on sunday, and heather alone bought heaps of jewellery at full price and the sister asked me for a show.
anyway spoke to her about the business, invited her to the info session and yep she joined as well.
she was born to do it.!
go that extra mile, have patience and sincerity, do not just look for $ as in big parties. Small parties are great as you can see.

Wow.......that is amazing..l am in "awe"..people do surprise you, who would have thought that she would have signed after all that postponement, etc....just goes to show that you never know...
Well done Marina for your perserverance...l am not sure if l would have been that patient???
