i just new in this party plans business and i need some information and help in how to start my party plans and how they works and how you collect the money in a normal party and in e-party.
do i need and etpos machine?

Before you start your party plan , it is wise to nut all this out first. Spend several days, visiting all the banks with a list of what you want and need!!! Don't be afraid to tell them what you want!!
Maybe invest in a business advisor as well to help you get established correctly.
As for payments, you need to offer just about everything!! Bank/net transfer is great. But also you will need credit card facilities as well. Watch out for the fees and weigh everything up. Be wary of accepting cheques, making sure that if you do accept them and they bounce, you will have to pay a hefty fee.

You don't need credit card facilties if you are not making enough money. I don't.Customers pay me in cash either do the hostess in directly into my bank account. If you do get customers depositing into your bank account then yoy will have to start you reference numbers to keep track of your deposits.
