Im not going to have a rant and a rave because my Saturday party just cancelled. My hostess has just found out that she requires surgery to remove a tumour not for the first time but for the 3rd. She can reschedule for whenever she likes.

I mention this for one reason: on a few occassions Ive read posts where people have gotten up tight and angry but dont seem too clear over the reason the party cancelled. As I mentioned earlier yes we do get those who do it for no apparent reason - happened to me last week. But we have to keep in mind that what isnt a big to us may be a big deal to them. Maybe they dont feel comfortable sharing the real reason behind their cancellation. When youve got that booking your hostess needs to be your best friend, she needs to feel like she can open  up to you. Relationships are a huge part of our business.

Sometimes its not just about us! For the record she has rebooked her party already, its now in late June
