There are a number of different ways you could go with this. Firstly does the pp you are with have regular training meetings?

If yes:

You could always invite them along to your next training meeting so that they can see what the company is all about. What we do in our training room is to have guests come along and take part in the majority of the meeting then they go off with a more senior consultant/director who talks to them all about the business opportunity. If the guest decides to join they are under you not the other person.

What I do when I invite someone is to tell them I'll be waiting outside for them with a gift to say thankyou for coming. Again its relationship building

If no:

You could always have the same sort of thing at home. Invite them all over together - less threatening to them and you would be answering questions that I'd say all of them have. They are building up a relationship amongst themselves which is excellent if they do become part of your team.

You could do a mini mock party - that way they gain some product knowledge as well.

Hey Kelly,

I like your idea for the "no" option - the mini-party sounds cool!! Gives them idea of what it would be like for them, as well as the much needed "product knowledge" training!

Gee you're full of great ideas!!
