There are so many party plans out there it's hard to know where to start! What sort of things do you enjoy - that might help you narrow down the field a little! Do you want something crafty, clothing, jewellery, homewares, etc, etc!! I sell candles and accessories - but the list is endless!! If you have some idea about what you are looking for, then I'm sure you'll be able to find someone here to help you. Ask and yee shall receive - information that is!! I would just like to clarify something.  When I read you post I took it that as an Area Manager for Penny Miller you are looking at trying to take things from just catalogue sales into party plan.  Is that what you meant or are you looking at joing another company that already sell through party plan?  I am sure eveyone in here love the products they represent.  I know I do and you seem to as well.  Feel free to contact me if you would like to chat about how to take that next step if you wanto to.

The company I am with only do catalogue sales and I am interested in joining another company as well to do PP. I used to do tupperware and ucw but never really got into it. I also did avon many years ago and would hold 'tea parties' and the like to make it a bit more interesting. They always went down a treat!

Now I am at a point in my life where I am in the process of changing my career from a 9 - 5 job into pp and catalogue sales. As I am able to book the parties when I find the right company to join up with, I have people that are willing to have parties to help me get started.

So really, all I need to do now is check out the opportunities that are out there. I have been loving the pm's and thank everyone for all the help they are willing to offer! You ladies & gents are wonderful.

Welcome to Party Plans, and I have seen a Penny Miller catalogue and some the products look quite good, and a massive range.

From what I understand there is not too many people doing Organics in Perth or W.A,

We have PM here in Melbourne and get catalogues at my door step frequently.

I also did Avon and a company called Larome perfumes. Then I got into the company I am with now and was able to leave my accounting job to do it fulltime.

It was 3rd time lucky for me and the same thing will happen to you.

Find a product that you know you will like to sell.

As long as you have a passion for party plan you will do great.
