I have had an awesome week with 4 shows that went ahead and 3 new bookings out of those.
I planted lots of seeds this week with some people that I think would be good in the business. that is all I do and then it is up to them to call me.
Anyway talking about planting seeds. I was doing my show Sunday afternoon when my best friend called me on the mobile. She said she has been thinking about the business lately and she wants to join up.
I could not believe it. MY best friend.
I remember when I told her I was doing party plan she was not that enthusiastic or happy for me. I remember she came to my open house and did not buy anything or did not even look at the stock. It was very disappointing for me.
How things have changed. 15 months later she is chasing me!
She knows how much my business has grown, she knows the money I am making.
The trigger for her ( and everyone has a trigger point) is she was on holidays for 3 weeks. She just came back from holidays and her boss did not even ask her where she went and how her holidays were. He just dumped some work on her table and left.
She is feeling very undervalued at work and is just not happy. Also financially she is not happy. ( she is in realeastate and sees all the big guys earning heaps of money, but she never gets any more then her wage. They all recently updated their cars as well.
Everytime we go out I cannot stop talking about the business and she has seen how much fun I am having and she now wants to be a part of it.
I am excited for Sharon because I know this will change her life. I will keep you posted on her progress.
ps. My own actual seed was planted 7 months prior to me joining up.

Congratulations Marina, that's a great story.
I'm so glad your friend has seen how well Party Plan is working for you, and is finally willing to give it a try herself!
I'm sure she'll get all the recognition she's after too!

Congratulations marina.......What a lovely thing to have happen when freinds join your business sometimes it just takes time for people to see what u do is serious & for real & what u as a leader gets out of it..........once they see what everyone else gets out of it they will want to join too

Ack, my "day job" is as an administrator for sales people in a real estate office too, so I know how your friend feels. What annoys me more than anything is that I do all their advertising for them as well - and isn't that what sells the property? *sigh* I know exactly how your friend feels - we do the vast majority of the work, and they take all the money.
That's why party plan is so great! Its good that she's open to it now. I am sure she will be one of your most motivated team members. :)
