Hi, Well i just need to get this off my chest about the low life creeps that live in my street. My mother happens to live up the road and recently she found someone elses garden waste bin on her naturestrip....ooook no big deal and mum wasnt putting her bin out that night but i thought bugger it why shouldnt it be outside their house so i put it back on their naturestrip. Then awhile later i notice our bin had been moved to face into our house with the back to the road ie if the truck would have come it would have been missed as it was facing the wrong way for collection.....then today i go to check on mums mail and there is a dead mouse in her letter box....i mean EEEK I nearly put my hand on it....BUT I am so glad it was ME that discovered it as my mum has a fear of mice and as she is elderly she might have even fainted. I am sure it is the same people as the bin incident. So now i have to go and get old tongs to pluck it out so my mum doesnt have to deal with it. There are some really sick people in this street. These same people yelled abuse at mum one day when she was watering near her front door on an odd numbered day within the times you were allowed to water saying he was going to dob her in. My mum keeps to herself and wouldnt hurt a fly so why dont they pick on someone their own age and size. Sheeeeeeeeeesh off to find my tongs.....not a happy camper today.

Oh my gosh! That's SO gross!!
What horrible people to pick on your mother! Thank goodness you live in the same street and are able to help her out. What a yucky thing to find in anyone's letterbox!
You're a good daughter to get rid of it for her!

GRRR!  So mad for you Sharyn!!  I'm glad your Mam didn't find it :(  Some people are just mean spirited!!

Reminds me of the time I decided to move out of home when I was 18 - I found a little 1 bed room granny flat to rent and was quite enjoying my new found freedom UNTIL - the people I was renting off had a tiff with the neighbours and of course my little granny flat was right in between them :(

I had to listen to them at all hours trying to out do each other with music, yelling, calling cops on each other - these were adults too with young families!!.

One night the guy I was renting from poured paint all over other neighbours garden and patio and the neighbour retaliated a few days later smashing my front windsceen of my beautiful little Barina !!!

I was so upset!  The guy who I was renting from offered to pay for the damage (guilty as sin for bloody starting the mess) and the other guy waited until windscreen man was fixing car before leaving for work that day - he deliberately reversed all the way back (wouldn't normally have to) to smile and wave !!!  What is with that???  He was like double my age!!

I was so cut, the police couldn't do anything as no one saw anything :(

Needless to say I moved back home not long after!!

And I never figured out why the neighbour took it out on me ... maybe was easier to make a point with me than with the actually clown that started it!!!

That is just gross.  It makes you wonder what some people do for kicks doesn't it.

Just last night my hubby and I had just pulled into the drive wa and started to get the kids out of the car when there was a bang as a car drove past.  We looked up to see that our neighbours two doors down had just had their car egged by the passing car.  Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to get a look at the number plate of the car that did it.  We couldn't believe that they would do this right in front of us.

I really hope this is the last thing you have to put up with.

We get crap all the time too, but I put it down to living on a main road. But it makes you wonder.  I know also one time my mum kept getting someone knocking on the outside of her house.  (My brother lives there and heard it too).  It went for weeks.  Finally rang the police and they told ME to stay the night and listen for it, in case she was just imagining it!!  Really makes you wonder what some people will do for kicks.  The best retaliation though is ignore them!!!  They get bored and move on.

Thanks for all your comments and sharing your stories. It goes to show what a sick old world we live in. This guys daughter doesnt get along with my daughter and so he is obviously getting his kicks picking on her grandmother. Mouse is now in the bin tongs and all. I wasnt the brave one though, although i fully intended of disposing of it, my 11 yr old daughter wouldnt hear of me or her nana going anywhere near it and so she got rid of it with the tongs. She was very brave and so determined to not let anyone hurt her nana. I really hope this is the end of it as we are just peaceful people that dont need this kind of annoyance.

Hi

just remember what goes around comes around,

do they own the place or are they tenants, if they are tenants you can put in a complaint to the agent and get the landlors details from the council and send them a letter, we did this last year to a tenant that moved in behind us and made a habit of leaning over the back fence and tormenting our dog, they turned out to be a bunch of young thugs, the landlord was very quick to get rid of the tenants, but our dog is still traumatised by it, if there is a new neighbour we actually have to take her to the fence and introduce them to her otherwise every time they come into there back yard she goes ballistic at them (mind you she is a golden retriever) thankfully she only does it to the adult men not the kids otherwise we might have had to take drastic measures.

anyway you can find out if they are tenants from the council, or by ringning a couple of agents in the area.

good luck with it

Hey there thanks for bringing up this point as i have heard they are in fact renting this place...so i might see what i can find out - i am pretty sure the rest of the street owns their own homes but it has definately been rumorued the trouble makers rent theirs. Thanks for the suggestion, And your poor dog....gee there are some low lifes in this world.
