Hi everyone,
How many people have tried to enter live chat only to find there is nobody there to chat to? despite the fact there are up to 7 people online in the forum at one time (... well thats the concurrent user record anyway )
If you are interested in a chat, we suggest you open the chat window, enter the 'general chat' room and leave it open.You can still surf the forums / web etc at the same time. Eventually someone else will enter (you will hear a bleep sound) and then you can chat and get to know your fellow member better! Of course if everyone just opens the chat window and closes it again because nobody is there.. then there never will be anyone there
How can we improve this? any ideas? does anyone really care?

Maybe we could have an 'official' opening time over a number of evenings until everyone gets used to the chat room... maybe moderators & party plan administrator could be the first to enter the room at designated time and then as more people enter and become relaxed enough mods and pp admin won't necessarily have to come in ... unless they wanted to of course.

I think having an official opening time sounds great.....we have a great chat room set up......so come on everyone lets get the rooms jumping & get everyone together........
I would also like to add the fundraising Room that I got set up if people would like to discuss Fundraising things at a particular time/day please PM me & I will endeavor to make myself available to discuss Fundraising stuff with anyone who is interested

I know my times are very open as i am home most nights, but those with school kids need to get them organised before coming on line (unless you have a wonderful partner)
I think party plans or moderaters should nominate the times best suited to them and just see how it goes. then people can say if its working for them or not
